An Interview with Kayla:  

What is your professional and/or personal ambition?

My professional is to be a Preschool Teacher, I love working with kids, it is a wonderful job!

If you could have dinner with any three people in the world, dead or alive, who would they be and why?

Dane Cook-to keep me laughing all night long, Jack Johnson-to serenade me and Marilyn Monroe-to chat with, she is a powerful icon to this day!

What is your proudest accomplishment?

Competing and placing in the UPA America Dance Nationals.

Who is your role model?

My mother. She is a great listener, honest,  goofy, spiritual and beautiful, inside and out.

My teammates would describe me as...

Determined, quiet...until I come out of my shell!

Biggest pet peeve?

I can't stand it when people over-wax their eyebrows!

First job?

Cashier at a grocery store

Favorite type of music? Anything I can groove to!

Favorite sports team? (Besides the Ice, duh!)

Superbad/Jonah Hill

Cotton Candy with gummy bears in it, yummy.

A beta fish, named Fish.

Favorite food? I love seafood!

Dancing in front of an awesome crowd!

So far, seeing my name on the ICE main page showing I made the dance team!

What always brings a smile to your face?

Laughter

Hobbies?

Art, movies, music, taking pictures, camping and working out.

What is your life philosophy?

The key to happiness is having dreams. The key to success is making your dreams come true!

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

I will be living in California, pursuing my dream of dance and working with children.

If you were an animal, what would you be?

A wolverine because they are small but feisty!
